From weddings and Burns' nights to parades, corporate functions, parties and funerals, an experienced piper is able to add a touch of tradition and quality to any occasion.
Originally from the Hebridean isles and with many years of experience, I can advise you on the perfect way to integrate a piper into your event, entertaining your guests and marking a special occasion.
I have played the pipes at many weddings, Burns nights, Hogmanay parties, Rememberance Day parades, public functions and funerals. I have played for BBC Radio Shropshire at their "Carols in the Square" service in Shrewsbury and been piper in residence at Warner Leisure's Holme Lacy House hotel.
I will always strive to make your experience unique from arriving in full ceremonial (No1) uniform to playing the right pieces of music for your event. You are assured of a great performance and a high quality, bespoke service that is difficult to beat.
I also play traditional blackwood flute and low whistle, and am occasionally asked to use these instruments at quieter moments like signing the register at a wedding. "The Secret Wedding" from the movie "Braveheart" is popular, as are slow airs or gaelic waltzes.
I know many of the popular Scottish pipe tunes so please phone or email if you you would like to discuss repertoire, find out more information or to discuss a booking!
